thanks to all of you who added me. i’m sorry i haven’t been online much. the web where i live now has only just been set up… as in they’ve taken the details but it will take 14 days, apparently.
anyway a brief update on SB goings on:
over the past few days i have recorded demos of around 10 new songs. the first album isn’t ‘out’ yet but it will be soon. only waiting on one track to be mastered. as soon as that’s done (in around a month) it will be with you. for free. or not if you want to donate something to me. i’m taking direct influence from Radiohead.
the 2nd album is more of a journey. it’s has a clear theme and timeline. i’m more excited about it than the first album, because most of the songs are new.
thanks again to those of you who are reading this. i am following 46 people, so it takes me ages to get through it all! i love reading it all, though.

yeah i forgot all about my gig yesterday. oops. also i have no web access. this makes me think i should get a paper diary and actually get in to writing with a pen again.

when googling for ‘slow burn’ i got to page 14 without one mention relating to me. if i google ‘slow burn simon’ i am in 4th place.
the only reason is because someone commented and used my name…

i am proud to be a part of this project. i was against the smoking ban because of all the right reasons. i could go on and on about what those ‘right’ reasons are, but i don’t want to bore you. suffice it to say that our civil liberties are being degraded, slowly but surely. you don’t have to be a smoker to realise that.

reinvention of [my] myspace profile
i’m not trying to ruin the last epic quote by lowering it’s context to myspace, honest i’m not.
i need to sort out a new layout for my SB myspace, one that’s relevant and not too arty for the sake of it. it’s difficult for me. i have no formal training in aesthetics and it is frustrating.
this is purley a note to myself to create a new one.

Radiohead tickets, yeah...
so me mate calls me up and says they’re on sale. i tell him to get off the phone and buy buy buy! so he does.. minutes later he calls me and says “i got them”. at the time i am in a non-lecture and am jumping around like a crazy person… a cocky crazy person who has just been told that he is going to see his absolute favourite band that he hasn’t seen yet.
